New members in KAPPA Family!

Yesim Aygul, who worked for various companies in pharmaceutical industry, has joined our team in the early 2009. She was graduated from Health Administration Department of Marmara University School of Health Education, Istanbul and is still preparing her a master’s degree thesis in epidemiology at the Institute of Medical Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics (IMBEI) at the University of Medicine of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.

Dr. Cagla Isman has been a member of KAPPA family since September 2009. She holds a medical degree from Hacettepe University School of Medicine and became a Physiologist at Marmara University School of Medicine where she was awarded as "Marmara University Young Scientist of The Year" in 2000. She was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology in Baskent University School of Medicine before she was transferred to KAPPA.

New Dates for the Joint Project by KAPPA, PTMS and Atuva: Medicomarketing Training

The Medicomarketing Training Courses are still going on. The next three meetings will take place on 1-2 October and 15 November 2007.

The first three meetings of the course were held on 21-22 February and 27 March and then on 7 May 2007.

A Joint Project by KAPPA, PTMS and Atuva

The first meeting of the Medicomarketing Training Course, which we are offering in cooperation with PTMS (Pharma Tailor Made Services) and Atuva Management Consultancy, will take place on 21 February 2007 at Bosphorus University. This first meeting will focus on The Correct and Effective Use of Research Findings for Marketing Purposes. Due to excessive demand, we have decided to repeat the course two more times; we will meet again first on 22 February and then on 27 March.

We Have an Article in Current Drug Safety

"Rational Pharmacotherapy and Pharmacovigilance" co-authored by Prof. Dr. Şule Oktay and Asst. Prof. Dr.Ahmet Akıcı has been published in Current Drug Safety.

The Book of Clinical Research

The Book of Clinical Research (ed. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Akan), a chapter of which was prepared by Prof. Dr. Şule Oktay, has gone into publication.

One of the founding partners and the manager of KAPPA-crt, Prof. Şule Oktay is a medical doctor and professor of pharmacology. She has stated that, "I will try to combine the academic knowledge and skills that I have collected in many years at Schools of Medicine of Hacettepe, Ankara and Marmara Universities, with the experience I gained at Omega-CRO, in order to provide a high-quality consultancy, training, medical writing and research services in pharmaceutical and health sectors in KAPPA-crt from now on. KAPPA is a family company, and I believe that my partner and sister Serap Erdemli will contribute a lot to KAPPA not only with her experience in management, but also with her creativity as an industrial designer. As a last word, I believe that knowledge grows by sharing."
